What This Is & Why It Matters
This project was born from a simple belief, that when we hear each other’s stories, something changes.
Many Australians from culturally diverse backgrounds want to understand and honour the veterans of this country, they just haven’t always had an accessible way in.
Tawasul Foundation brings together the voices of Australian veterans and the curiosity of multicultural communities, creating a space where history, humanity, and shared values meet.
A place where curiosity is welcome, questions are encouraged, and every visitor leaves knowing a little more about the people who shaped this country and what they’re doing today.
Bridging Cultures, Honouring Veterans is proudly supported by the Victorian Government and the Victorian Veterans Council — and is free and accessible to all.
